Have a "Green" Wedding

Throw lavender or rose petals... instead of rice.

Instead of getting your flowers from a conventional florist, gather roses and wild flowers from your own organic gardens or from those of family and friends and make your bouquets, centerpieces and potpourri with them.

Give your bridal party and groomsmen natural gifts and ask your friends and family to do the same for you.
I even offer a Gift Registry now if you like.

Make it a great and eco-friendly feast by having locally grown food at your reception.

Plan fun activities with your children around a "Green" theme

Go on a pine cone hunt and make bird feeders out of them by coating them with peanut butter or melted suet and then rolling them in bird seed.   Let the mixture set-up and get firm in the fridge and then hang up as high as you can reach in a tree.

Take photos of the birds in your yard and then try to identify them from a book at the library.

Make a game out of who can collect the most items to be recycled each month.

Organically Yours,
